* exec: make mmap_lock/mmap_unlock globally availablePaolo Bonzini2015-09-091-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | There is some iffy lock hierarchy going on in translate-all.c. To fix it, we need to take the mmap_lock in cpu-exec.c. Make the functions globally available. Reviewed-by: Peter Maydell <peter.maydell@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
* linux-user: remove --enable-guest-base/--disable-guest-baseLaurent Vivier2015-08-241-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | All tcg host architectures now support the guest base and as there is no real performance lost, it can be always enabled. Anyway, guest base use can be disabled lively by setting guest base to 0. CONFIG_USE_GUEST_BASE is defined as (USE_GUEST_BASE && USER_ONLY), it should have to be replaced by CONFIG_USER_ONLY in non CONFIG_USER_ONLY parts, but as some other parts are using !CONFIG_SOFTMMU I have chosen to use !CONFIG_SOFTMMU instead. * softmmu: introduce cpu_ldst.hPaolo Bonzini2014-06-051-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | This will collect all load and store helpers soon. For now it is just a replacement for softmmu_exec.h, which this patch stops including directly, but we also include it where this will be necessary in order to simplify the next patch. * Replace most gcc format attributes by macro GCC_FMT_ATTR (format checking)Stefan Weil2010-10-031-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since version 4.4.x, gcc supports additional format attributes. __attribute__ ((format (gnu_printf, 1, 2))) should be used instead of __attribute__ ((format (printf, 1, 2)) because QEMU always uses standard format strings (even with mingw32). The patch replaces format attribute printf / __printf__ by macro GCC_FMT_ATTR which uses gnu_printf if supported. It also removes an #ifdef __GNUC__ (not needed any longer).
