* MAINTAINERS: Add entries for include/net/ filesThomas Huth2019-11-291-0/+2
| | | | | | | | The include/net/ files correspond to the files in the net/ directory, thus there should be corresponding entries in the MAINTAINERS file. Signed-off-by: Thomas Huth <thuth@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Jason Wang <jasowang@redhat.com>
* MAINTAINERS: Add entry for include/sysemu/kvm*.hThomas Huth2019-11-291-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | The include/sysemu/kvm*.h header files should be part of the overall KVM section. Signed-off-by: Thomas Huth <thuth@redhat.com> Message-Id: <1456403605-26587-1-git-send-email-thuth@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
* MAINTAINERS: Add an entry for the include/sysemu/rng*.h filesThomas Huth2019-11-291-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | These headers are used by the virtio-rng and rng backends code, so they should be listed in the same section in MAINTAINERS, too. * MAINTAINERS: Remove the old s390-virtio machineThomas Huth2019-11-291-6/+0
| | | | | | | | | The old s390-virtio machine has been removed last year, so we don't need the corresponding section in the MAINTAINERS file anymore. * MAINTAINERS: Add an entry for the include/ui/ folderThomas Huth2019-11-291-0/+1

* MAINTAINERS: Add section for FPU emulationPeter Maydell2019-11-291-0/+7
| | | | | | | | | Add an entry to the MAINTAINERS file for our softfloat FPU emulation code. This code is only 'odd fixes' but it's useful to record who to cc on patches to it. Signed-off-by: Peter Maydell <peter.maydell@linaro.org> Message-id: 1453814875-440-1-git-send-email-peter.maydell@linaro.org
* MAINTAINERS: add all-match entry for qemu-devel@Stephen Warren2019-11-291-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add an entry to MAINTAINERS that matches every patch, and requests the user send patches to qemu-devel@nongnu.org. It's not 100% obvious to project newcomers that all patches should be sent there; checkpatch doesn't say so, and since it mentions other lists to CC, the wording "the list" from the SubmitAPatch wiki page can be taken to mean only those lists, not the main list too. The F: entries were taken from a similar entry in the Linux kernel. | | | | | | | | | | | | get_maintainers.pl does not handle parenthesis in maintenance areas well in connection with list emails (here: qemu-ppc@nongnu.org). Resolve a recurring CC issue breaking git-send-email by reverting part of commit 085eb217dfb3ee12e7985c11f71f8a038394735a ("Add David Gibson for sPAPR in MAINTAINERS file"). * io: add abstract QIOChannel classesDaniel P. Berrange2019-11-291-0/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Start the new generic I/O channel framework by defining a QIOChannel abstract base class. This is designed to feel similar to GLib's GIOChannel, but with the addition of support for using iovecs, qemu error reporting, file descriptor passing, coroutine integration and use of the QOM framework for easier sub-classing. The intention is that anywhere in QEMU that almost anywhere that deals with sockets will use this new I/O infrastructure, so that it becomes trivial to then layer in support for TLS encryption. This will at least include the VNC server, char device backend and migration code. Signed-off-by: Daniel P. Berrange <berrange@redhat.com>

* util: pull Buffer code out of VNC moduleDaniel P. Berrange2015-10-201-0/+6
| | | | | | | The Buffer code in the VNC server is useful for the IO channel code, so pull it out into a shared module, QIOBuffer. Signed-off-by: Daniel P. Berrange <berrange@redhat.com>
* coroutine: move into libqemuutil.a libraryDaniel P. Berrange2015-10-201-0/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The coroutine files are currently referenced by the block-obj-y variable. The coroutine functionality though is already used by more than just the block code. eg migration code uses coroutine yield. In the future the I/O channel code will also use the coroutine yield functionality. Since the coroutine code is nicely self-contained it can be easily built as part of the libqemuutil.a library, making it widely available. The headers are also moved into include/qemu, instead of the include/block directory, since they are now part of the util codebase, and the impl was never in the block/ directory either.
