From 4ac8c50b29d1c541ec2e338ab79c96e1d17a723c Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: bde Date: Sat, 7 Sep 1996 21:47:53 +0000 Subject: Fixed another easy case of const poisoning in the kernel. Cosmetic. (A pointer to a const was misused to avoid loading loading the same value twice, but gcc does exactly the same optimization automatically. It can see that the value hasn't changed.) --- sys/dev/syscons/syscons.c | 4 ++-- sys/i386/isa/syscons.c | 4 ++-- sys/isa/syscons.c | 4 ++-- 3 files changed, 6 insertions(+), 6 deletions(-) diff --git a/sys/dev/syscons/syscons.c b/sys/dev/syscons/syscons.c index 2a81f41..363e6c1 100644 --- a/sys/dev/syscons/syscons.c +++ b/sys/dev/syscons/syscons.c @@ -25,7 +25,7 @@ * (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE USE OF * THIS SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. * - * $Id: syscons.c,v 1.165 1996/09/06 23:08:09 phk Exp $ + * $Id: syscons.c,v 1.166 1996/09/06 23:35:54 pst Exp $ */ #include "sc.h" @@ -2215,7 +2215,7 @@ scinit(void) was = *cp; *cp = (u_short) 0xA55A; if (*cp == 0xA55A) { - Crtat = (u_short *)cp; + Crtat = (u_short *)CGA_BUF; crtc_addr = COLOR_BASE; } *cp = was; diff --git a/sys/i386/isa/syscons.c b/sys/i386/isa/syscons.c index 2a81f41..363e6c1 100644 --- a/sys/i386/isa/syscons.c +++ b/sys/i386/isa/syscons.c @@ -25,7 +25,7 @@ * (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE USE OF * THIS SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. * - * $Id: syscons.c,v 1.165 1996/09/06 23:08:09 phk Exp $ + * $Id: syscons.c,v 1.166 1996/09/06 23:35:54 pst Exp $ */ #include "sc.h" @@ -2215,7 +2215,7 @@ scinit(void) was = *cp; *cp = (u_short) 0xA55A; if (*cp == 0xA55A) { - Crtat = (u_short *)cp; + Crtat = (u_short *)CGA_BUF; crtc_addr = COLOR_BASE; } *cp = was; diff --git a/sys/isa/syscons.c b/sys/isa/syscons.c index 2a81f41..363e6c1 100644 --- a/sys/isa/syscons.c +++ b/sys/isa/syscons.c @@ -25,7 +25,7 @@ * (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY WAY OUT OF THE USE OF * THIS SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. * - * $Id: syscons.c,v 1.165 1996/09/06 23:08:09 phk Exp $ + * $Id: syscons.c,v 1.166 1996/09/06 23:35:54 pst Exp $ */ #include "sc.h" @@ -2215,7 +2215,7 @@ scinit(void) was = *cp; *cp = (u_short) 0xA55A; if (*cp == 0xA55A) { - Crtat = (u_short *)cp; + Crtat = (u_short *)CGA_BUF; crtc_addr = COLOR_BASE; } *cp = was; -- cgit v1.1
