Subject: Now that uptimes run into months on a regular basis, I often find
 myself wondering what the hw-config of a machine is, and the logs have been
 rotated many times since reboot already.

Added:
	/sbin/dmesg > /var/tmp/dmesg.boot
to /etc/rc
