This will make a number of things easier in the future, as well as (finally!)
avoiding the Id-smashing problem which has plagued developers for so long.
Boy, I'm glad we're not using sup anymore. This update would have been
insane otherwise.

- `slstat' with no args dumped core.
- `slstat unit' always failed with a "sysctl linkspecific" error.
- the usage message was nonstandard.

- missing prototypes, Wformat errors, and other lint.

Use the link MIB interface rather than groveling around in kmem.
(No longer works on dead kernels, big deal.)
