As result of this, a new examples package is now created.
Note, this is only effective with 'SHARED=copies' (the default),
as the 'SHARED=symlinks' mechanism will create a symlink to the
source tree version of the file(s).

and finish the job. ncurses is now the only Makefile in the tree that

The makefile contains a reference to /sys/dev/ppbus. What really should
be done is copy the header files to /usr/include/sys/dev/ppbus.

Currently supports the (very common) Hitachi HD44780, but can be
easily modified to add other chipsets.
