* Cleanup of xlocale:theraven2012-02-141-5/+15
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Address performance regressions encountered by das@ by caching per-thread data in TLS where available. - Add a __NO_TLS flag to cdefs.h to indicate where not available. - Reorganise the xlocale.h definitions into xlocale/*.h so that they can be included from multiple places. - Export the POSIX2008 subset of xlocale when POSIX2008 says it should be exported, independently of whether xlocale.h is included. - Fix the bug where programs using ctype functions always assumed ASCII unless recompiled. - Fix some style(9) violations. * Fixed longstanding namespace convolution involving rune_t vs wchar_t.bde1996-05-011-5/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | If _ANSI_SOURCE or _POSIX_SOURCE is defined, then <ctype.h> had to be included before <stddef.h> or <stdlib.h> to get rune_t declared. Now rune_t is declared perfectly bogusly in all cases when <ctype.h> is included. This change breaks similar (but more convoluted) convolutions in the stddef.h in gcc distributions. Ports of gcc should avoid using the gcc headers.
