You will probably want to add an alias to your httpd.conf file,
somethinglike this:

    Alias /vtiger "%%WWWDIR%%"

and restart httpd.
To finish the installation, open:

    http://<hostname>/vtiger/install.php

in your webbrowser and run the installation script.
