Update to 990416 version.
Some commentary from Mr. bwk:
Mar 5, 1999:
after hearing from yet another innocent victim, changed
isnumber to is_number to avoid the problem caused by
freeBSD gratuitously and incorrectly including the name
isnumber in the standard header file ctype.h.
